Working with charities

Postby Brandyboy on Fri Sep 14, 2018 7:43 pm

I’m wondering what resources other teachers find helpful when fundraising for charities in school. I’ve seen lesson activities and work sheets, fundraising packs aimed at primary school age children with appropriate fundraising ideas and tips, pots that kids can fill with sweets and sell, things like that.

Has anyone come across anything they’ve liked/disliked? I’m helping a friend who works for a children’s charity who want to work smarter when it comes to schools and make it easier for them to help each other.

Any feedback hugely appreciated.

I think you pretty much covered it, Brandyboy. I don't like over-complicating things when it comes to charities. I like to keep it as simple as possible while delivering the message clearly.
